Kanjilab.jp Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the use of the service "Kanjilab.jp" ("Service") provided by the Kanjilab.jp Operations Team ("Operator"). Users ("Users") agree to these Terms by using this Service.

Article 1 (Service Description)

1. The Service uses AI (OpenAI GPT, etc.) to generate Japanese kanji suggestions and images (SVG/PNG) based on user-entered English names or text.
2. The information provided by the Service (kanji, meanings, readings, symbolism, etc.) is not guaranteed to be accurate or complete and is offered for entertainment purposes only.

Article 2 (AI Characteristics and Disclaimer)

1. The Service uses AI-generated results, and the Operator does not guarantee the accuracy, safety, appropriateness, or reliability of its output.
2. The Operator assumes no responsibility for any damages or disadvantages caused by AI-generated content.
3. The Operator specifically disclaims responsibility for:
   • Use of generated kanji for tattoos
   • Commercial use (e.g., printing on T-shirts)
   • Cultural misunderstanding or misinterpretation of meaning
   • Disputes with third parties arising from usage

Article 3 (Use of Generated Content)

1. Users may freely use generated kanji images (SVG/PNG) at their own risk.
2. The Operator assumes no responsibility for outcomes resulting from the use of generated images.
3. Copyright belongs to the Operator or respective asset providers. Users are granted usage rights.
4. Commercial use is permitted, but Users assume full responsibility for their usage.
5. Users are strictly prohibited from registering generated content (kanji images, designs, character combinations, etc.) as trademarks, design patents, or any other form of intellectual property.
6. If Users violate the preceding clause and proceed with such registration, the Operator assumes no responsibility, and Users shall be liable for all resulting damages.

Article 4 (Prohibited Actions)

Users shall not engage in:

• Unauthorized access or server-load attacks
• Misuse of generated content (hate speech, illegal use)
• Violation of rights of the Operator or third parties
• Actions damaging the Service's credibility

Article 5 (Service Modifications and Suspension)

The Operator may modify or suspend the Service without prior notice.

Article 6 (Advertisement)

The Service displays advertisements, including Google AdSense.
The Operator is not responsible for any damages resulting from advertisement usage.

Article 7 (General Disclaimer)

1. The Operator is not responsible for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service.
2. The Operator is not responsible for issues arising from external services (Printful, etc.).
3. All use of the Service is at the User's own responsibility.

Article 8 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by Japanese law.
The exclusive jurisdiction shall be the courts of Japan.

Article 9 (Multilingual Terms)

If these Terms are provided in multiple languages, the English version shall prevail in case of inconsistency.
